What foundation is right for my skin?

Question

I have very fair skin and when I use foundation I either look white as a ghost or orange in comparison to my neck. What format (minerals, liquid, cream, etc.) and what brand do you recommend?

I don't like drug store brands only because I've used so many different kinds and they all broke me out. I would try MAC. They have it in powder, liquid, minerals...etc. Just go to the counter at your mall and ask one of the makeup artists there. They will match your color for you and will tell you what type of make up is best to use for your type of skin.

When you test foundation on your skin, put a streak on your jawline of each color you are looking at. Whichever blends in best with your skin, that's the one you should use! For more makeup tips, visit my blog!

try bareminerals or mac. just get them to match your skintone for you. when you choose it by yourself or buy drugstore brands, you almost always get the wrong shade. prescriptives also has custom foundation blends. they make the foundation to perfectly suit your skintone.
