What freeride / dirt jump bike should i get ?

which bike is better value and overall better choice between these bikes?:

kona cowan 2008 $1599.00

giant STP 1 2008 $1495.00

kona stuff 2008 $1349.00

and would a bike with more than one gear be alrite for dirt jumping and freeriding?

like th kona cown or would it get damaged easy and derail alot?

or is the single front sprocket better for this?

like the giant STP1?

u want a single geared for dirt jumping and free riding other wise u will just damage the derailer u want a mongoose pro like i did when i did freestylin.
