What frequencies would blow a subwoofer faster?

Would higher frequencies on a subwoofer, in range of being produced by a subwoofer that is, blow it quicker than lower frequencies. I believe lower would blow them quicker, if continously played becuase of the voice coil having to move much more than the higher frequenceis and the subwoofer moving a lot with it of course. Am i right or wrong? I was not sure and if someone knows or has an idea as to why it could be higher frequencies please add your input. Thanks.

  1. On the contrary..the coils of a sub are cooled by movement. The less movement, the less they're cooled so high frequencies would be more damaging.

The only parts that actually have any wear and tear is the surround and the spider. The coil doesn't even care that it's moving.
