I want to plant a tree in Rhode Island that bears fruit in July-August. Do you have any suggestions?

  1. Dude, any mouth-watering variety of plum is good, especially black plum, and yeah, we have an apricot that's bearing good, hardy, fruit right now in the back yard.  Try a white nectarine - very sweet.  About the only thing to watch out for is disease as some may be more prone to it than others.

  2. pears, peaches, apricots...all bear in late june, to mid to late july
