What fruit/veg can i feed my leopard gecko?

Question

He isn't interested in his crickets at the moment so i was wondering if i could feed him other things like veg and fruit. (he's too young to eat waxworms or mealies yet)

Would cucumber be OK to feed him? I know citrus fruit can kill leos so i dont even give the crickets it to eat. Please help!

Leopard geckos are insectivores.

They don't eat fruits or vegetables.

You should have researched care of this species before you got it!

None they take no isntrest, mine will only eat things that move like bugs. Mealworms, crickets, waxworms etc

try different types of insects, leopard geckos will definatley not eat vegetables or fruit they only eat insects and spiders...

i only feed mine cucumber, lettuce an tomato very finely chopped i was told by the breeder that they are the best things for them an that he wouldnt advisse me to feed them any other veg or fruit x

You couldn't be more wrong.

Feed it any insects you can get from the petshop - but make sure they are not too big, but this mainly applies to mealworms and locusts (bugs with hard parts).

You can get mealworms small enough np and waxworms can be eaten at any age (but not in large quantities because of fat content.

Don't give it fruit or veg - it does not have the enzymes to digest rough plant material and fruit is just sugar...

Leopard geckos are insectivores, they do not need any fruit or veg.

As for mealworms eating through gecko's stomachs, that is a myth, mealworms do have a tough exoskeleton but the Leo's stomach acids kill them very quickly.
