how do i answer this question on a job application, i want to sound diplomatic but not a suck up, at the moment i work at the check in counter for an airline and i am applying to move into the cabin crew department

im just not sure how to word it

  1. How about:

    "I feel I am ready for more responsibility, and I look forward to some new challenges."

Isn't it disgusting how these HR types try to get inside your head?  Tell them whatever you think they want to hear and stick to it.  What frustrates me in my current role?  How about not enough pay and being supervised by idiots?  Don't say that but you know what I mean.  Better to say that you would like more responsibility and challenges in order to best provide quality customer service.

  3. That is an unusual question to be asked on a job application, but I don't doubt your word.  I would answer that you want a job with more potential to grow in the company and want to learn all aspects of the airline industry.

  4. I wish there were more openings in the Cabin Crew slots so that I could apply my people pleasing skills more effectively.
