Wildlife observation and game calling. It is reall exciting to climb a tree in the forest and call wild animals to your spot. I do this in hunting, but in the off season do it just for fun.

Start a fossil collection and a mineral gem collection.There are book on how and where to look and identify. Great fun.

Try cisting. You read riddles posted on the internet and then follow the clues to find real treasure and it is FREE! There are hundreds of cists in the US. If there are not any in your area just get a couple of people to hide for you and you hide for them and before you know it you have hundreds.
