  1. Cool, Amsterdam is realy a great city!

The Hague isnt realy near Amsterdam, so I personally would stay in Amsterdam and maybe visit The Hague for one day.

Some must see things are The Vondelpark, The Dam Square and the Anne Frank Museum!

By the way a Great huge Store you should visit is the Bijenkorf (it's located on the Dam Square.)

You can find more info at http://www.aboutamsterdam.info

I hope you enjoy your stay in amsterdam!

  2. There are lots of Fun places in Amsterdam. But if you want to know information regarding this then you can find information from site http://www.a1amsterdamhotels.com. I hope it willbe usefull information for you.

  3. There are things to do in both Den Haag (the Hague) and also Amsterdam (and actually throughout the country as well)

Here are a couple of ideas (off the top of my head, but there are lots more than just this):

    Amsterdam

    - Rent canal bikes, this is a fun way to get around Amsterdam

    - Rent normal bikes - if you want to see the rest of Amsterdam then this is great as well.  You get to see more than stuck in a tram, and a lot of freedom as well to stop when you want

    - Anne Frank house - it is really moving actually and if you have ever read anything about her, it is really something to see for yourself (and if not read first and then come)

    - Tropenmuseum - this is something that not all tourists go to see, it is a museum with sights & sounds from countries from the world and actually more fun than it sounds http://www.tropenmuseum.nl/smartsite.sht...

Madame Tussaud's - if it is a rainy or very humid day and you want to get inside, this is always worth a visit http://www.madametussauds.nl/english/ind...

    - Shopping - of course! there are loads of clothes, shoes etc shops, both on the bigger streets such as the Kalverstraat, but also in smaller streets as well which is fun to find by bike

    Close to Amsterdam

Zaanse Schans - if you want to see windmills and can go inside as well

    (Close to) Den Haag

    - Duinrell Amusement Park http://www.duinrell.com/ amusement park & water park for younger teenagers

    - Efteling Amusement Park (closer enough to travel) http://www.efteling.com/home.aspx?Langua... for all age groups

Madurodam - Once you have seen some of the Netherlands, then pop into here and you can see it again in minature! http://www.madurodam.nl/

    - Beach at Scheveningen - if it's good weather then it is going to be busy though, so be warned!

Regarding where to stay - then do both, if you are there for a week let's say then spend 4-5 nights in or close to Amsterdam and then 2-3 nights close to Den Haag

The public transport network is really good, so everything around the cities is within easy reach

  4. There are alot of things to do obviously, with all the museums and so on, but if you are looking for particularly fun things that a teenager will enjoy, here are some:

    1. Canal Cruises

    2. Free afternoon concerts in the Concertgebouw on Wednesday afternoons

    3. Rent a "water-bike" and peddle the canals, these are always fun anywhere you go!

    4. See a movie in Tuschinski on the Reguliersbreestraat, the beautiful theatre has recently been renovated.

    5. The Vondelpark is really beautiful. Thing Central Park in New York, that's what Vondelpark is to Amsterdam

    6. Go to the Pancake Bakery

    7. Have you been to the London Dungeons? Amsterdam has one of these too, and as well as the history being interesting, teenagers will find it fun too.

    8. The NEMO museum is interactive and fun and if you go to the top the views are spectacular. For instance they have a giant interactive robot there that is pretty cool!

    9. The Bloemenmarkt is a floating flower market and even if you don't want to buy flowers, it is interesting and fun.

    10. Go to the Artis Zoo

    11. Like in London, there is also a Madam Tussauds in Amsterdam too, filled with lifelike wax figures!

    I hope this is helpful!!
