What fun things could I do with my piano student?

She is really bored during the lesson and doesn't pay attention. got any ldeas?

I like the idea of the other postee to ask her some of her favorite songs and try to (or eventually ;) duplicate them on the piano.  People tend to be motivated by praise -- good job, terrific, perfect or such.  If she continues to not show enthusiasm, perhaps either talk with your supervisor (if work for a company) or with her mom or dad about if there is anything else going on.

Ask what her favorite song is, then get the notes for that song. Then she'll be more interested in what she's playing.
