  1. i thinkl that anyone who has tried to mess with the haka has had thier asses whipped...he just pisses of the AB's to much.

  2. ashar/97 once again you have shown your lack of knowledge. That game actually ended in a 26 all draw.

You are right it was Richard Cockerill in 1997, the referee pushed Cockerill away from Norm Hewitt because he thought they were going to start a fight.

Edit: alright ashar/97 you have me there, I didn't realise they played two tests!! I was basing it on my poor memory instead of actual research. I remember in 1997 that we were undefeated that year. The only game we didn't win was the 26 all draw with England. I remember that game, I remember the haka incident, but I still don't remember there being two tests against England. I apologise, good work.

P.S - I can't believe how incredibly biased those articles are!!! From reading it you would've thought England won.

  3. I believe you are talking about the All Black tour of the Uk in late 1997 Englands Richard Cockerill used his stand over tactics on All Blacks Norm Hewitt while doing the haka, both players had fire in their eyes and was surprised they didnt come to blows.

    Sorry England lost that game!

I dont believe I know of any team that has won against the ABs when stand over tactics like the above or huddles such as Italy happen, I also think its a motivational tool for the ABs to kick some butt!

edit: 'johnboy' check out the links below New Zealand won 25-8 at old trafford in manchester where cockerill did his stand over with hewitt, England then went on to draw 26-26 at twickenham.

I may be a back seat driver in the game of rugby johnboy but I do my research before I post my answers besides I remember that particular game so yeah thanks anyway :-)

oh hey.... the ref did jump in and separate them for fear of an all out fight so you are right about something. Research before you critisize I say......

edit: Actually johnboy mine was based on memory too, I didnt know they played 2 tests until you brought up the score, anyhow apology accepted no harm no foul have a good week!

ps-yes the articles are very biased I actually thought the ABs

    had lost!
