PS3 because it has a great list of games and the online features are free (xbox 360 you have to pay monthly). Also, PS3 is releasing a Sims-like community integrated into their online features for free.

Wii is also a good console for playing with friends, but the game list is extremely weak for late teens or adults. Most of their games are targeted for children.

I would choose the ps3 all the way. TH ps3 has cool games that xbox360 does not hyave. Such as god of war 3, little big planet, kill zone 2, kill zone 1, resistance 2, and the new HOME(this is free and you can chat with your friends, for more go to youtube and type in "ps3 home". The ps3 controllers have six-axis which is cool in army of two for controlling parachute. The ps3 has a builit in blue-ray. So its like a free dvd player!!!! The ps3 store has downloadable games and can buy,download, or rent movies and games.

The xbox360 the controllers have to be recharged on batteries which meanes u have to spent a ton of $$$ on batteries. The xbox360 controllers are heavier which means you dont feel as confortable player your games.

i like psp cause you get internet and there cool games for it you can download music and games and viedos and backgrounds.i also like the wii cause on wii sports boxing its good exercies and you get to punch the miis with it.i also like the ds cause you get wifi and you get to take care your own dog on nitendogs anf it has a portabel guitar hero game{best game ever to me}.mine all time faveriote consal is the xbox 360 {the best gaming system everrrrrr to me} and you get to talk and play games with every one in the world and it has very very very very very really really really cool games.
