What game is my "friend" playing?

So I have this friend

She and I weren't ever really close friends, but we were friends and whenever we talked to each other we'd pretend to hate eachother

but we didn't really, we were just kidding and it was all good

and then, we kinda drifted apart

and there was a time I was mad at her for a little but it resolved really quickly, no harm done.

but now all of a sudden, she's started talking to me more and more

and it's not like when used to talk, when we'd make jokes and have fun with eachother

now she's being all nice and laughing at all my jokes (which really aren't all that funny lol) and she doesn't do that pretend hate thing anymore (which was kind of the only way we talked to eachother)

she's just way too nice to me, like we're friends or something

I wouldn't care if the whole thing wasnt so random

it's starting to confuse me though because idk what she's trying do

my best friend and her used to be best friends too, if that changes anything

but over the summer they had a falling out

am I overreacting? should I just roll with the punches?

I really don't trust her, she's being way to nice....

  1. Go along with it but be cautious if you cant really trust her. She may just miss the friendship you had, i tend to do that alot.

  2. two things one maybe she could just be trying to become a closer friend then just joking around every now and again

two she maybe trying to get back at your best friend by trying to take you away from her this one is more likely cause that's just what most girls do and if it starts to seem that way the best thing is to stay far away from her.

you definitely aren't over reacting i would be the same way!

  3. i honestly think this girl is just trying to reach out

and maybe showing that she wants to be better friends for a while.

if you're afraid that she's trying to use you or something, try not to freak, just go with the flow for a while, and if somethings seems a little wierd, talk to her about it.
