Water fights are always a popular ideas, and the rain makes them even more exciting.

You could buy water balloons from the store, or you could make your own "homemade" ones: Take a regular plastic grocery bag, fill it up with water, tie tightly, and throw! You could also use hoses, water guns, and buckets.

P.S. I suggest the water fight should take place on the grass. Water makes areas slippery, and if people should fall, they would be cushioned. However, you should also watch out for mud, since dirt and water makes mud.
