  1. blackjack

the house odds are like 1.5% for good players

  2. Why am i the only person that understands blackjack here?  Ima get more into that in a bit but first,

If you want to walk away a winner, as you approach fewer and fewer trials, the odds of you not falling victim to the hosue edge increases, this means that a fast paced game (liek a slot machine) is not a good option, and even if you were to find a high payout machine, your still more likely to lose on it because per period of time youll make 5 times as many bets which amplifies the house edge per period of time. So a high payout slot machine with a 2% house edge is athe same thing as a table game with a 10% house edge.  Further more, most slot machines dont even have return rates that high, they only place a few of them just so that they can advertise that they have them, some slot machines have house edges as high as 25%!!

Now about blackjack yes, the ~~AVERAGE~~ player plays at a disadvantage of 4% or whatever it is, but this is ONLY because there is an alarmingly high percentage of players in the blackjack population that do stupid things, like hit on hard 17s, and double on 12 and 13.  Blackjack playing strategy may be complicated, but you dont need to memorise it, you just go buy a playing stategy card in the gift shop, its the size of a buisness card and will reduce the house edge to the lowest number in the casino, i coudl not specify this hnumber since ruels effect it quite a bit, but you can use this tool to find the hosue edge of a blackjack game near you.

And to find the correct strategy shoudl you want to memorise it you can learn it here based on the rules of the game

Also, if you did go ahead and take the time to develope some skill in blackjack, you can flip the odds on the hosue by counting cards, so hands down the answer is blackjack

but a close second is craps, mainly because of the slow pace of the game, and the small house edge just over 1%

  3. If they still have it go to the Stratosphere and play the 101% payback slots. You still may lose that that is the best odds you can get.

If you understand the games Poker and blackjack are your best bets.

  4. The answer depends upon your skill level and your definition of winning.

If you are skillful enough the best odds of winning over a longer time period would be poker, blackack and maybe sports bets.

If you are not including skill the best odds of winning over a longer time period probably would be betting the don't pass and/or don't come in craps with full odds.

If you are not including skill and you want the best odds of coming out ahead after a single event, the best I can think of off hand would be to find a single zero roulette table and bet an equal amount on 35 different numbers. Your odds of winning would be 35:2, over 94%. IMPORTANT NOTE: Overall roulette has some of the worst odds in a casino and if you try using this strategy repeatedly you are sure to lose. The reaon is that when you win your net profit is the amount of a single bet, but when you lose your loss is the amont of 35 bets.

The important thing to remember is that gambling in Vegas should be viewed as an entertainment expense, not a money making scheme. Sure it's more fun when you come out ahead, but if you can't have fun without winning it would probably be better to take your money somewhere else.

  5. I'm going to be controversial and say slots.  But before anyone gives me a thumbs down, let me qualify that.  You have to play a slot machine in an area of the casino with a guaranteed payout better than 98%.  Not all casinos have this, but some have a specific area of the slots that have a minimum payout guarantee.  There's usually a sign up boasting about it.

Now it doesn't mean that you can't lose, but it does give you a concrete idea of the house edge.  In this case just 2%.

For those who claim the answer is blackjack or craps, or video poker, I do accept that the house edge can be very low in these games, but ONLY if you play the games correctly.  For example, the house edge on Blackjack is probably around 99%, if a player hits any hand that is not blackjack.

The great thing about the slots concept is that if you can find a high payout area of the casino, only play in it for maximum coins, there is no skill and no knowledge required.  Just put the money in and press the button.

For all other games there is a learning curve and during that curve (which can be quite a long curve for some players) the edge given to the house is WAY higher than a couple of percent.

  6. without any skill or cheats or casino specials it is:

    BINGO

yes, bingo has the smallest house edge in vegas.  obviously pay attention to the price, payout, and rules but overall Bingo is the best bang for your buck.  However it is still a losing proposition.

Here are some of the main house edges, remember these still vary from place to place.

Win percentages for the casinos based on the drop.

    BINGO... 0.81%

    BJ ......... 2.55%

    CRAPS.... 2.73%

    BACCARAT... 3.57%

    PAI GOW... 3.94%

    LET IT RIDE ....4.37%

    ROULETTE... 4.86%

    SLOTS ....5.29%

    CARRIBBEAN STUD ...5.72%

    SPORTS ...5.35%

    Wheel of Fortune ...9.13%

    RACE BOOK .....16.71%

    Keno .....26.92%

For me however it would be sports betting, the house has absolutely no edge on me.  I refuse to sit down at a table or slot machine when I am in vegas, you may win in the short run, but in the long run 95% will be losers.
