What gas/oil ratio for my johnson outboard?

i have a 1994 Johnson 30 outboard. it hasn't been used in a while and has some old feul in it. i know absolutely nothing about this thing or 2 strokes in general. what ratio would the fuel be mixed in?

  1. That would be 50:1 gas to oil

    use a good quality oil that meets the TC-W3 minimum.


  2. You need new gas, mix 50 parts gas to 1 part evinrude oil. You can go to Walmart & buy the 16oz ? bottle of evinrude oil, mix with 6 gallons of gas.

  3. 50:1  buy a measuring container

  4. First, do not run the old fuel!

    Use fresh premium gas with 50:1 (2%) marine 2 stroke oil mix.

    that`s 50 gallons of fuel to 1 gallon of oil
