  1. I wouldnt go any smaller then 4 guage, especially if you want to bridge the amp. kits are ok and convenient as long as the cable isnt cheap. Bigger is always better for power.

  2. this link has a chart to help you figure that out, and i always go one size larger because its easier/cheaper in the long run to have the thicker wire in case you want to upgrade in the future (you don't have to remove the old wire and start over) http://www.crutchfield.com/learn/learnin...

you don't have to buy a name brand but just be careful because check this out http://www.crappyinstall.com/Forum/viewt...

  3. Yea buy a amp kit that has everything you need and i would recommend no less than 4ga.

    Power Wire

    Ground Wire

    Remote turn on

    RCA patch cables

But beware of cheap kits it may say 4ga wire, but if you can look at it, the plastic around the wire is bigger than the wire itself.

I bought a amp kit made by memphis at a local car audio shop and it was good quality wires,it cost me $80.

  4. My preference is a spool of two conductor cable.

Given that your speakers are 2 ohms nominal (may drop close to 1 ohm in practice); you want the total resistance of your speaker wire (from amp to speaker back to amp) to be less than 1% of 1 ohm.

First determine the distance from the amp to the speaker, multiply by two to get the total length, then use a chart like the one on this site:

    http://www.epanorama.net/documents/wirin...

to figure out the minimum size.  It doesn't hurt to go larger.

You can get good speaker wire from Home Depot, DigiKey and other suppliers.

  5. buy the amp kit it has every thing you need to hook it all up a 4-8ga should get all the power to the amp
