Archaea - lack membrane bound organelles, single celled, do not contain peptidoglycan in cell walls, cell membranes made of hydrocarbons + glycerol

Bacteria - lack membrane bound organelles, single-celled, do have peptidoglycan in cell walls, cell membranes made of fatty acids + glycerol

Eukarya - have membrane bound organelles, single or multi-celled, cell walls lacking in some but when present contain cellulose or chitin, cell membranes made of fatty acids + glycerol
