What generation does apple sell in the refurbished section?

I just bought a refurbished iPod online and it doesn't say what generation it is... does anyone know if they sell old generations in the refurbished section? I'm guessing they can, but then again I would think not since it doesn't specify what generation it is...

  1. Yes they do sell the old generation ipods in the refurbished section but it should have said wat generation ipod it was on the website
