  1. Use any dry erase markers and write/color over the sharpie marks.  Then use the dry eraser to rub off both the sharpie marks and the "coloring" you've covered it with.  My manager at Outback Steakhouse showed me this trick 5 years ago.  Ive showed many of my teacher friends the miracle trick!  Also, using the dry erase spray cleaner as a final rub down also removes the final residue.  Good luck!

  2. A favorite of mine to get Permanent Marker off of anything is nail polish remover. Granted, you don't want to use it on something like a finished table, as it will eat away the finish, but Nail Polish remover should be perfectly safe for a board or window, anything of that texture. It's also safe for plastic covered tables and such.

It's always worked for me, and I've used it for dry erase boards also.

    Hope that helps!

  3. Try Simple Green cleaner.

  4. Try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.  They work lots of miracles like this.  It won't harm your board, either.

  5. i would use a cloth with a little window cleaner on it as it is a strong remover. or even turtle wax as that remvoves a layer of paint on a car so it should remove the stain on your board

  6. Alcohol will generally take nearly all sharpie marks off of anything. You can also try WD40, spray some on and wait 5 minutes then wipe off. I have used both many times to remove sharpie marks and they work great. The alcohol is great for dry erase, but if it doesn't work go witht he wd40. Guaranteed to work.

  7. Erasers work really well. I remember in High School, my teacher accidentally used a sharpie type pen on the white board and someone suggested using an eraser.  I recently just got a white board and i used a sharpie to write on it and tried erasing it with a eraser. it worked perfectly fine. try it :D

  8. ~~Rubbing alcohol will remove sharpie marks from anything.~~

  9. Have you tried Windex or something like it?
