My family has this ah-mahzing pool but the only flaw is that there's always these horseflies outside and they are extremely annoying. How do you get rid of them?

  1. Mix some Teatree oil with another oil (as Teatree oil is expensive), say cooking oil.  Soak some strips of rags in the mixture and tie these to plants, trees, pots, chairs or anywhere.

This will keep away horseflies, mosquitoes and nearly all flying/biting insects.

Try it, it's brilliant stuff!  Also if you smear some around your window sills, it keeps the flies out.  Hope this helps,

Ps you might have to 'reload' the rags if it rains too heavily but being oil, it doesn't wash away to quickly.

  2. A big bug zapper.  Horsefly fry up real good in those!

  3. Victor makes a solution that is mixed with water and placed in a clear plastic jar with a special tent over the lid that has 4 holes for the fly to crawl into.

The smell is very slight but the flies love it and are seen flying around the inside of the jar before they expire.

If you have equestrian stores in your area it is a good place to start.

    You're welcome

  4. I believe some special candles you can buy from Walmart and other stores that will get most of them away, they hate the smell.
