What gets stolen the most?

In things like department stores such as Wal-mart, what items are stolen the most? Just curious!

People like to steal so they can sell it themselves. Therefore, they make it a profit off the merchandise. Usually electronics such as GPS, cell phones, video games, etc. are commonly stolen. These are hot on the market and they can make good cash on them.

Thinks such as make-up are stolen for their own personal reasons.

SMALL ELECTRONICS THAT HAVE HIGH MONETARY VALUE. LIKE SAY THE NEWEST HYPED UP PHONE LIKE A SIDEKICK THAT WILL RETAIL FOR $400. PEOPLE WILL TRY TO STEAL THESE LITTLE THINGS AS THEY ARE VERY SMALL AND EASY TO HIDE AND THEN THEY ALSO HAVE GREAT VALUE. THE NEXT MOST COMMON THING IS SMALL HOUSEHOULD ITEMS THAT HAVE NO STATIC STICKERS TO PROTECT THEM.

The thing that gets stolen the most is consumers' money. Wal-Mart steals your money thats how they make huge profits. I mean they overcharge you like every other store.

Clothes get stolen pretty easily. All you need is a big bag and make sure the tags are off and walk out. h**l, I've noticed that most of the clothes don't actually even have tags in department stores.The people in most department stores rarely even do any checks. Especially in Christmas when it's virtually impossible for people to check because of the large number of people.

It varies from store to store area to area.  I know many baby things get stolen also diabetic supplies (that is why they lock it up now)  There is no hard and fast rule one walmart may have a problem with X while another with Z

That really depends on the reason for the theft, and seems to vary quite a bit.

People who steal for profit take electronics, and small expensive items that are easy to conceal, such as electric razors.

Other people steal what they need.

Make up is a common item stolen, because it is expensive and easy to hide.
