  1. I agree with evil woman. The gift of your time, is the best gift that any Grandmother would love. Help her with things around the house or just sit down and listen to her, sometimes people just need someone to listen. And a heartfelt card, about your feelings, and the good times you have had with her. And make sure you tell her I love you, Grandma!

  2. You could spend a day with her and do what she likes to do and she would enjoy it because your doing it with her! or you could just clean up the house for her that would be very thoughtful. You could even help water plants or trim her bushes! Hope I helped!! Good Luck!!

  3. A pair of really nice earrings.

  4. book a meal

  5. Give her like an Rodgers and Hemerstien set. I gave it to my grandma and she loved it!!!

  6. Yes, take her out to eat. Many grandmothers just want more time with their grandkids.  Another option is to simply ask her for birthday ideas or to go to her house and see if anything needs repair.

  7. Most grandmothers have all the material possessions they need, so your time or help with something she can't do by herself anymore would be a great gift. If she has friends that like to hang out with her, you might consider a gift card (enough for at least 2 people) to a restaurant or theater or something.

  8. a gift certficiate at her favorite beauty salon.

At 69, she should be treated with respect and love, but not as though she were ancient and doddering.

Another gift might be something from her past. At 69, she is a member of the Woodstock Generation. A CD of her favorite group or singer from that era -- Joan Baez or Bob Dylan -- might be appreciated.

Another nice gift is a photo sitting. This is a very thoughtful gift that would be appreciated, not only by the recipient, but by your entire family.

  9. How about taking her out to her favorite restaurant- just the two of you?

  10. If you have a "Things Remembered" store or any store that enscribes where you live, you can buy a nice porcelain trinket box that she can keep any important rings, earrings, etc. in and have the top inscribed with something say it was from you.  We did that for my husband's grandmother and she was very touched.

  11. Maybe flowers and a card saying, "I love you."

    Thank you for asking.
