What gift to buy for my music teacher???

Question

my music teacher is moving to another school in 2 weeks when my school year ends. And i am thinking to collect 10 dirhams (1 us dollar = 3.5 dh) from as many students as i can get, i reckon about 15. and then buy him a gift from the music store. I really dont know what to buy, and his main instrument is keyboard. any ideas??

You should get him something that he is interested in, if he wears really wierd ties, or he is obsessed with coffee.  You could always get his favorite piece of music and have you band play it and give it to him on a cd.

My band teacher always wears ties with musical notes (or something of that nature) so maybe you could get him a few of those. I also recommend getting him a nice card (let everyone who gave you money sign it) and tell him how much you appreciate his hard work and dedication.

It depends on how much you respect and like him as a teacher~

For my music teacher I got him a music tie because he's really into quirky looking ties.

Our orchestra thought about getting one of those violin backs they sell separately and have everyone sign it and decorate it.

One of the choir classes took a huge picture of the class, framed it, signed it, and presented it to him formally. ahah
