My husband and I are going with a friend to visit Peru in 2 weeks. We will be spending a couple of nights with his family (father, mother and 2 young adult brothers. I want to take them gifts. We live in SW Florida. Also any advise on Arequipa or Cuzco? Gracias!

  1. take them t-shirts or hats from well known places where you live, maybe disneyland, or some florida team. Believe me, they'll like to wear american clothes in public. Just make sure they fit

  2. It depends on what kind of family they are. Guests in my house used to bring a box of chocolates for my mom, (coz obviously she was gonna cook for them so she got a bonus) and a good wine or sangría to be drank among the adults during dinner. I don't recommend bringing clothes because you never know what other people like. So wine and chocolates should be good.

If you go to Arequipa make sure to go to La Ibérica, if you love chocolate. The cuisine is excellent if you are interested in food like me. I hope you enjoy your trip. Good luck!!

  3. keep it simple, wine or chocolates, or take them out to a nice dinner.
