  1. I'm not quite sure about the percentage of girls studying in iit...but i think there are lesser girls compared to boys which might be one reason why the iitjee 2008  application form costed 500 bucks lesser for girls

    Girls can do anything they like...only mining and i think even marine engineering(in some places) is off limits to girls. Very few girls(in India) take up mechanical engineering
