Personal taste is not gender exclusive.  If she is on a diet, she probably will not want all the cheese and greasy meats.  Most mexican places do offer healthier alternatives, she just  would have to ask.  I'm a girl, and I like it, but I know girls who do not.  I think it's the spicyness they dislike, if it wernt spicy, I imagine they would enjoy it.

I am from San Antonio Texas and absolutely love it!  However, I am currently working in Decatur Illinois and their version positively sucks!

I have two friends who absolutely love it!  I hate it.  I don't like the Mexican cheese.  And all the beans.  I do like taco bell though but I only like the regular taco's and tostadas.

I love Mexican food! I live in New Mexico and it's everywhere here. I just finished eating red chili (very hot) with pork that I made this morning! ~WW~

I like Taco Salads and fajitas ..... but none of that stuff that's smothered with cheese, and looks like it was already eaten once before.....

Authentic Mexican food is delicious.  Some find its spices offensive.  It's just a matter of personal taste.

Whatever you think about Mexican... Taco Bell and joints like that are NOT Mexican.... just FYI

I love Mexican food. But, pardon my French, it makes some people, particularly men, um pass gas. But it doesn't have that effect on me so I can eat all I want!!!

Authentic mexican food is awesome- tortas are my favorite. Oh and choco-flan cake is a must try. None of that tex-mex bull cuts it
