What global processes exemplify the law of conservation of mass?

I am writing an essay and I have to identify and describe a global process that exemplifies the law of conservation of mass. I really have no idea. Can anyone help me out?

I think you could use the global hydrological budget as an example. because the water is conserved and not created or destroyed but passes from one state to another through changing locations etc.
