  1. I would exclude the first simply because Prohibition was a reaction against diverse social values (especially those of new immigrants). It was the result of a reform movement, although social justice was not a key factor here as it was with movements supporting women’s or minority rights.


  2. I would say "Reform movements and the struggle for social justice". During the time prohibition was happening you had other reform movements such as the Women's Movement and a little earlier there were movements to help make public school more readily available to poorer people and to mandate better treatment for the insane. However most of this stuff is in the earlier 1900s just before the "Roaring Twenties."  

  3. I would go with the second one because it might be easily understood and there might be more information to preview before writing on the topic assigned.
