What goes good with gordon's gin?

i got some gin left from having gin and tonic, good stuff, although i want to see if there is anything else good to mix with gin?

One of the best mixers for Gin is definately SQUIRT.  It's a little bitter like tonic, but still very citrusy.  You must try it.

We bought some a long time ago - I hate gin but it's "drinkable" in this recipe, loaded with lots of "non alchy" and an "alchy" I LIKE   ((I hve not made the other recipes I'm sharing with you))

Perfect Cocktail Formula

1 part soft alcohol

1 part non alcohol

Shake in cocktail shaker, or pour over ice.

Hard alcohols (80 proof)

Soft Alcohol (40proof)

-triple sec

-grand marnier

-sour pucker

-amaretto

-curacou

-schnapps

(etc)

Non Alcohol

-sodas

-sweet and sour

-fruit juices

-water

-colins mix

(etc)

Making it for 1? Use 1 shot per part. Making it for a group? Use 1 cup per part. Making it for a party? Use 1 bottle per part.

Too strong? Top off each glass with soda water to lighten the buzz.

Mix up the percentages of each part

LONG ISLAND ICED TEA

1/2 oz. rum

1/2 oz. gin

1/2 oz. vidka

1/2 oz. Triple Sec

1 oz. lemonade

cranberry juice

Pour ingredients over ice in a highball glass and top off with cranberry juice. Garnish with a lemon wedge.

* 1/4 oz. Galliano

* 1/4 oz. Gin

* 1 1/2 oz. Southern Comfort

* 1/2 oz. Tequila, gold

* 1/2 oz. Vodka

* 3 oz. Orange Juice

Glass to Use

Highball glass

Mixing Instructions

Combine all of the ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake and strain into a highball glass with ice.

1 part gin; O R any clear liquor, such as vodka..

float lemon slices if you like

You can also soak lemon, orange, and lime slices in gin overnight and then garnish with those.

1 1/4 oz cream

3/4 oz triple sec

3/4 oz gin

2-3 dashes grenadine

PREPARATION:

Pour the ingredients into a shaker with ice cubes.

Shake well.

Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

1 1/4 oz orange juice

1 1/4 oz gin

2 dashes orange bitters

maraschino cherry for garnish

Pour the ingredients into a shaker with ice cubes.

Shake well.

Garnish with the cherry.

Gin Toddy

1 1/4 oz Tanqueray London Dry Gin

3/4 oz lemon juice

2 oz boiling water

1 tsp sugar

cinnamon stick for garnish

PREPARATION:

Pour the ingredients into a wine goblet.

Stir

Garnish with a cinnamon stick.

2 oz gin or vodka

1 oz green-apple shnapps

PREPARATION:

Pour the ingredients into a shaker with ice cubes.

Shake well.

Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Long Island Iced Tea recipe

1 part vodka

1 part tequila

1 part rum

1 part gin

1 part triple sec (or orange liquor)

1 1/2 parts sweet and sour mix

1 splash Coca-Cola®

Mix ingredients together over ice in a glass. Pour into a shaker and give one brisk shake. Pour back into the glass and make sure there is a touch of fizz at the top. Garnish with lemon.
