What goes in the wedding night overnight bag?

Every where I look for wedding tips it says don't forget to pack the wedding night bag for the hotel? What goes in it?

The main purpose of this bag is to keep from having to go home after the wedding so you can go strait to the hotel from the reception.

Many years ago (I have been married for almost 30 years), I had a bridal shower given by the church I attended at the time.

The preacher's wife gave me a beautiful night gown. As I opened it, she said this to me:

There are going to be times you will want to smack the teeth right out of his head.  

There are going to be times he will want to smack the teeth right out of your head.

But be patience...remember love is kind...she said.

Before you go to bed, put on this night gown.

As you get into bed, take it off and lay it beside the bed.

If you do this every night, you will have a happy marriage.

Well, the system works pretty well....I have to admit.

Now, I give this advise to anyone that asks.

So...what to you put in an overnight bag for your wedding night?

You may put a lot of things...but in the end...what do you need?

Fun clothes, toys, lotions/etc. anything you wanna use!

1.  Your lingerie; Any special things for s*x;

2.  Perfume or body lotion;

3.  All your overnight items: deodorant, shampoo, curling iron, etc.

4.  A change of clothes for when you leave the the hotel

5.  Don't forget a change of shoes too!  I learned that one the hard way!!!!  My friend had to drive to the hotel and bring me a pair of hers to borrow!

I didn't pack much beacuse we stayed only on the wedding night before we headed out to our honey moon.  Our car was packed with honeymoon luggage, but all I packed was my special wedding nightware and some fun lotions I got at my wedding shower.  Then I packed the clothes I plan to wear on the flight.

bubble bath, candles, lingerie,

toothbrush/toothpaste/ contact stuff (if you have contacts), clothes for the next day, deoderent, perfume, hair stuff (brushes, clips, etc.)

tylenol or excedrin for the next morning (if you drink at the wedding)

Honey, besides the usual of a change of clothes, tooth brush, etc Remember to pack your LOVE TOYS and Whip Cream.  LOL!

anything you would bring when going away for a night.your s**y lingerie,your personal hygenie items,a change of clothing and any other stuff you think you would need.remember you are just going for one night so once you get into your room you wont be leaving till the morning to check out so you basically need what you would have if you were home and getting ready to go out.

Make sure whatever you need for the next day is in there.

For example, I forgot to pack my half-slip to wear with a dress the next day. Under my wedding dress, I wore a full-length slip, which I couldn't wear with my knee-length dress.

And my next-day dress needed a slip! We went to church that morning, and I just was careful of how/where I stood, then put on a slip when we went to my mom's for the lunch and gift opening.

Well you want to pack your shoes, make up, Dress, smell goods, a outfit for the reception if you plan on changing, rings, and all the bathroom items like soap, shampoo and perfume. You basically pack every thing you will need for the wedding and sleeping in the motel room.
