  1. Have you ever been to a Catholic Mass before?  A Catholic wedding ceremony is just a full Catholic mass (including the singing) with a wedding vows exchanged in the middle.

It will have a full homily, communion, and yes ... the hymns.

You should go to a Catholic Mass in the next few weeks to see what you're in for.

    Good Luck!

  2. NOOOO, they last forever!!! They are boring and long!!!!! I fell asleep at my uncles wedding!!!!!

  3. I depends. If you are doing a full mass you can expect around 45 minutes to an hour.

    Family enters (song)

    Wedding party enters (song)

    Bride enters (song)

Vows, blessings, communion, readings, maybe a song

    Leave (song)

    Communion is about 15 minutes.

If you are not already Catholic then you must be in order to get married in the Church.

  4. You don't have to have a full mass, you can just have a wedding ceremony. Those are a lot shorter. However there will still be a reading and the priest will still give a sermon, You can omit the songs to if you desire to do so. All told you can probably cut the whole thing down to about 15 or so minutes.
