What goes on the back of the girl scout junior sash? I know that the badges can go on the back after the?

  1. The fun patches and activity patches go on the back...You should NEVER put them on the front.  Badges go on the front underneath the council patch, the troop number and any other official insignia...leave about an inch or more below the last insignia then sew on the "Earned" badges.  Anything that is given out as participation or fun should go on the back of the sash.  The back of the sash has no "Official" patches, you may begin activity patches at the top, though I always started them on the bottom and worked up so that if badges filled the front I could start them at the top on the back.


  2. The fun patches can go on the back, but a sash will fill up rapidly. I'd suggest you get a tote bage, backpack, jacket or camp blanket to sew the fun patches onto. That way it can act as a scrapbook years beyond her Junior years.
