JTJ21M: Actually by not yielding to faster traffic in the left lane, you're also guilty of a moving violation.

  1. "I'm travelling at the fastest safe speed, nobody should have any reason to pass me"

    (seriously, that's what they think)

edit: JTJ21M: I don't "agree" with them, I split lanes if I'm on my bike, or pass on the wrong side, then slow down in front of them to intentionally slow them down, until they get so irritated that they try to pass me.... and then I give them the finger and speed off...

  2. They're probably thinking something like:

Since the vehicle code states "no vehicle shall travel faster than the posted maximum speed"  and I am AT that speed, do I need to accommodate law breakers?

  3. Im with the first poster, The left lane isnt for going over the speed limit. If you're going over the speed limit you deserve to be annoyed and stuck behind others!*edit* No, you are not, unless they are an emergency vehicle. You have no obligation to yield to anyone that is going over the speed limit. Heck you can even go the minimum posted speed limit in the left lane if you choose, but THAT might get you a ticket, Not ever going the speed limit in the left lane though, unless as I said you fail to yield to an emergency vehicle.  *edit* for the first poster, sorry if i implied anything other than I assumed thats what they were thinking too, I didnt mean to go as far as to imply you felt the same as I did on the situation=P I just agreed with what you posted as far as what was going through their head(then added more of my OWN opinion on top of that=P). Sorry for any misunderstanding.

  4. they think "What goes through the mind of someone aggressively  tailgating me when I'm going the speed limit?"

  5. If this is on a regular highway and I'm planning on making a left hand turn up the road I'm thinking why is someone riding my butt when I'm traveling 10 miles over the posted speed limit. If I'm on the interstate traveling 10 over the posted speed limit and I have someone riding my butt I know I'm thinking that I will move over when its convenient. I'm not going to move over behind a bunch of slow cars just to give a speed demon the opportunity to pass. I have the right to pass too!! Riding my bumper is not going to make me move over any faster.

  6. "I'm an inconsiderate ****** who doesn't care that other people have places to be."

  7. I know what should be going through their minds but the darned Police took all my guns away when I shot the neighbours cat. Honest, I thought it was a squirrel. HA HA ! HO HO ! HEE HEE ! 2 points .... please.

  8. Driving to FC the other night:  SUV hogging the left lane, going about 50, talking on her cell.  Grrrrr!  Nothing was going through her mind, I'm sure of it...

  9. Everything and anything except concentrating on the road and driving responsibly. Cars have become stupid looking ego replicas for feeble people. And every single one a mobile tax trap. Some sort of weird sense of supremacy and arrogance ensues when people sit in a tin box and stare through a glass screen, like a mouse on a wheel day in day out. Total stressheads, always wanting to be somewhere else and as if  some sort of urgency is constantly present. What and why is the rush ? A lot of it is stark ill mannered ignorance, and downright laziness. Ride a bicycle. There will soon come a day when you will not be able to physically, and that will come around sooner  than you expect if you sit on your butt in a car everywhere you go. If driving is something you can't handle moderately and cooly then don't do it. It is a privilege not a right.

  10. For the first time ever in my pathetic life I have power!!  Power I tell you.  I'm never moving from this lane.  Laughs manically.

  11. They probably don't realize that they're doing that. You'd be surprised how many people aren't paying attention to what's going on around them while they're driving.

  12. They probably have no idea someone is behind them, probably elderly, or very young and paying attention to all there friends in the car.

  13. How many people can I p**s off today...

Have you ever noticed that people who go slower than you are Idiots and people who go faster than you are A$$H*!!s?

  14. He is crazy and has not understood the EMERGENCY of the one who wants to overtake him/her.
