I would think "If only" in the UK prices are nearing the equivalent of $12 per gallon.

I look at my fuel gage too see how much fuel I still have and wonder what record profits Exxon Mobile it produce this quarter ; )

I drive a gas guzzling 66 Ford LTD. So yeh, I am really screwed. Which reminds me of a funny story. Me and my dad were driving around yesterday, and we came to a filling station and asked for $20 in the tank. The lady looked at us funny, and then we preceded to go fill up. turns out, we only got about 4.5 gallons. Somthing to think about...

In UK I think I'm paying $7 or $8 for an Imperial gallon. A US gallon is i think about 80% of that so I'm paying between $5 or $6  a US gallon lucky you. I think we are both being riped of you by the Oil companies and me by the oil companies and the British Government

It makes me sick, d**n the government, they don't care because their pockets are being lined and the h**l with the poor citizens that are on a fixed income, my husband makes good money but it's starting to hurt us now.

I say wow! I can save 22 cents a gallon.  Regular where I live is $3.77 at the cheapest.  I've seen it at $3.99.

I'm fortunate to have such low prices for fuel vs the price of fuel in Europe.
