Question:

What goes through your mind when you go swimming?

I want to have more positive thoughts, but I seem to struggle, and my mind starts worrying. It would really help with my performance if I could remain focused.

  1. during competitions,

    ur not supposed to think about wat you're doing

    i just concentrate on my breathing,

    imagine all my goals,

    and persuade myself to go faster when im totally dead,

    telling myself i can die later,

    you can only swim the race once and when its over, i can collapse


  2. stroke counts-

    "1 2 3 breathe or 1 2 3 4 5 breathe." repeat

    "kick kick kick" (I forget sometimes)

    "wheres the T?"

    and sometimes I just remind myself to dolphin or whatever

    or I dont think anything at all

  3. About the day. I sing  a lot of songs? in my head of course
