What goes well with casserole?

Question

I am making a casserole with beef chunks, onions carrots and beefstock.

What do you think will go well with this? A particular type of salad?

Will it have sauce like gravy in it? Mash potatoe goes gr8 with casserole,my 2nd choice would be roast potato,then boiled potato

I say it being an older classic I'd serve it with either an iceberg wedge salad  or a Faucon salad:mixed greens, bl cheese dressing,bleu cheese,bacon, crumbles,egg bits,and croutons

Try a green salad. Maybe with fresh baby spinach leaves, sliced tomatoes. Simple, but delicious & super healthy. Also, it looks so lively in color.

Casseroles often have all the needed ingredients for nutrition. You didn't mention bread or dessert. And you're right! Salad is a great side.

A good crusty bread if there are juices/gravy to soak-up, or nice and soft french bread which has been buttered.  Confessed bread lover ;)
