What golf bag should I buy?

Question

My boyfriends birthday is coming up and I know he needs a new golf bag. What kind of style should I get? Cart bag? Carry Bag, or are those bags with the stands useful? He is going to be 26 so I want to get him one that is in style and not too old for him.

At his age I'd go with a Stand bag.   Young folks have more energy than us old folks...they walk   lol

I have used many bags and my favorite by far is the sun mountain superlight 3.5.  This bag is a very stylish bag for anybody.  It is also very inexpensive compaired to ping, callaway or titleist bags.

the ping carry bags are awesome. they are lightweight but still very durable. I like the ones with the stands, but thats because i play tournament golf. if he usually just plays with a cart then he doesn't really need one with those

Ping, Nike,Sun Mountain are all good golf bags. And the one with the stands are useful

Regardless of what bag/brand of bag you decide on make sure the legs of the stand bag are sturdy, I can't tell you how many bags i've gone threw because rubber ends at the end of the legs gave out. Just my opinion but i've used a Ping stand bag for high school and college and its been pretty reliable + you can customize it on Ping's website!
