  1. In the rules of golf, u can't change the ball that u used at the beginning of the hole. But it is not really all about the ball u use. It is about the club & the choice of shot u will take.

If u r not very consistent in making 200 yard shots then always lay up (ball lands a few yards away from the water). Even if it is a par 3, lay up & just aim for par. Statistically, this choice of shot results to lower scores in a hole for high handicap players.

  2. I only play one type of ball and that's the Titliest NXT Tour. It has great feel and control,no matter if you have to play over water or not.

  3. I would go with a  35 degree wedge.  If you don't have on a pitching wedge will do fine also

  4. Use the same ball you have been using through out the round. If you change you are lowering your expectations - thus going to hit a bad shot.

Remember golf is played on the 5 inch course between your ears.

  5. The same ball I had finishing the previous hole.  If that ball is scuffed or dirty I will tee up a new one -  Titleist  Pro vi.

If you think you will lose the ball, it will happen.  Also, if you can't afford to lose a couple of balls per round, you are playing the wrong game.

  6. the oldest ball in your bag!

  7. an old piece of c**p ball

  8. A stolen range ball

  9. I always use top flight. They can be used to drive off the tee all the way to putting. You can buy them as extra distance or extra straight(what i use) and their cheap. I got 15 golf balls for only $10.

  10. I use the ball that they give me at the beginning of the miniature golf course.

  11. I use the same ball I have been using for the round.  I believe I will pull off the shot.

    What water?

  12. Seeing how you cannot change the ball you tee-ed off with, I would use the same ball as on the tee.  To use a c**p ball lessens your odds of hitting a good shot!  While learning the game, I used the most expensive balls I could buy for those shots, teaches you confidence real fast!

  13. an old ball

  14. The one's you get at Krogers.

  15. If you are any kind of good player, you will just use the same exact ball as you have been using the entire round.  It shouldnt matter if there is water or not...  just hit a good shot and trust your swing.

  16. The same ball I was playing on the hole before the water.  Using a 'c**p' ball lessens your chance of hitting a good shot, no matter whats in the way.

  17. titlelist pro v1x

  18. I use the same ball on every hole.  I'm not afraid to lose a ball in the drink.  It's just one ball.  I usually take 6-9 with me each time I play.  There are plenty of times when I don't lose a ball when I play.  Sometimes I change just to hit a fresh ball.

  19. The same one I've used on the other holes.

Don't let a water shot get to you.  It's just like any other shot you've hit at the range.  In fact, using your imagination of shots that you will hit on the course when you are practicing is a good way to make a shot over water a non-event.

  20. Changing balls for a water shot will not improve your game.  It's all about confidence in yourself thru focus and concentration.

  21. maggots3, 1 that can skip across the water like a flat rock.
