  1. go see a professional club maker has equipment to measure every thing in your swing and temple and he can match up the good shaft and driver maybe ten or eleven or even a nine ,hearsay is no good

  2. Your best bet is to go to a pro shop and say exactly the same. If you can get on a launch machine you can try out different drivers to see which work.

You will find that more useful than asking us on here.

At 6ft 2 I dont think you would need any extra length because I think standard length is suitable for around 5ft8 to 6ft4.

With a very fast hard swing a stiff shaft would be more useful.

but please don't take this information I have given too seriously because I am no pro and I am only going by the theory.

So get yourself on a machine with a pro in the UK there is American Golf, then I am sure you will find a driver just for you, this is what I did.

  3. the faster you swing the stiffer your shaft should be, so you should get a stiff shaft. Regular should be fine since you aren't 6'4'' yet

  4. depending on your swing you will probably need a +1 club or an extra inch  whoever said clubs are made for people 5 8 to 6 4 is wrong thats 8 inches

which is to much of a spread to make for the average is made for people 5'

10" and i would get a stiff shaft i would recommend depending how much you are going to or can spend i would get a cleveland hi bore 120 hibore xl

150 or hibore xls 300 they are easy to hit with great distance and foregiveness

  5. I can not answer your question as I can't see your swing......

The best advice I can give is to try several different drivers on a launch monitor.....The data will tell you which one best suits your particular swing.  Buy what you hit the best.

  6. You won't need to get a longer club for your size.  A standard driver will be fine.  If you swing pretty hard, you probably want a stiff or x-stiff shaft for your driver.  There are many, many options out there for shafts, so my best advice is to see a club fitting professional who can help explain the best options for you.

Keep in mind you are probably going to drop $400 or so on this stick, so make a good choice that fits you.
