I would like to regrip my irons. Can anyone recommend a comfortable grip? I know I should feel them on my own, and I will after I have some solid suggestions.

  1. Its all about personal feel. There are hundreds of kinds of grips out there and you need to find out if you like firm or soft grips. However, i would recommend that you get grips with some tackiness, especially for your wedges. You use them the most (or you should) and therefore will wear out them the fastest

  2. Dead right^^

  3. stick to winns or golf pride either of these is a solid choice i've tried almost every grip and these have been the best winn pci golfpride dd2.

  4. I'm 13 and my handicap is 1. honestly it is between 2 grips winn and golfpride. I use golf pride for a couple of reasons they are half cord and half plain. they look really good and work well in various whether conditions. You might want to use winn also. At the pro shop ask them to feel clubs that have these grips on them. if for some reason you dont like then another great grip is lamkin.

  5. I like Golf Pride Tour Velvet and have them on all my irons and woods at present.  Second choice would probably be Lamkin Crossline.  I also prefer round grips so I can open or close the face if I want, some grips have a rib that runs down the underside and I don't care for that type.  Also make sure you get the correct size (.580 or .600 usually) for the shafts on your clubs.  Don't underestimate the importance of the proper grip.

  6. Golf Pride are generally considered the "best" grips out there, but are a little pricey. Lamkin is a good option for slightly less.

  7. I like the Winn grips.  They are very comfortable and work well in the rain.  They are basically same grip that tennis racquets have.  The only downside are they don't last but a couple seasons.  They are comfortable enough to use without golf glove.

  8. The DCI are a .580. If you really want to get nice grips I would buy Winns. They have the new xi7 and DSI coming out and they are awesome.

  9. Golf Pride Tour Velvet. They are nice and grippy without being harsh on your hands, and are still fairly good value.

  10. I just answered a question about this a few hours ago.  I play Nike irons and love the grips.  If you don't care about having a different manufacturer's grips on your equipment, purchase Nike or Ping grips.  If that idea doesn't sit well with you, Lamkin and Golf Pride make excellent grips as well.
