Does anybody buy golf related equipment off the Internet and if so what?

I am a bit wary of disclosing CC details to all and sundry.

  1. I buy everything from balls to gloves and even golf clubs. I have never had a identity theft problem and I have been buying online for years.

  2. I have bought the majority of my golf equipment of the internet.  Ebay is my best friend.  I did buy a dozen balls at a golf store yesterday, but I had a gift certificate.  I will try out items in the store and then look for it on ebay.  That's my hustle.  I've bought plenty of golf attire off ebay as well.  I've also gotten stuff from the The Golf Warehouse, Edwin Watts, and Golfsmith.  I don't go to stores to buy stuff anymore; just to try out stuff.

  3. I buy everything off the Internet, almost all on EBay, and have gotten some steals of a deal.  I just bought 400 golf balls, with 5 dozen Pro-V's, few dozen NXT's. HX- TOUR (56) Hot etc, all nice, totally playable balls for less than $100.  I buy gloves in bulk, 6 for under $40.  Anything and everything, I demo anything that needs demoing inside a golf store, and from there it's home to EBay to find the best deals, any accessories such as cases, watches and sunglasses, all off EBay, all for less than half of what I would have paid at GG or Golfsmith.  The one thing to make sure of is to closely look at the feedback of the seller and make sure they are selling authentic goods.  Do not be afraid to contact the seller and ask for more pictures or to request addition information.  I have also always used paypal and it has been great.  I tell my wife with all the money I save buying online frees up more dough to play on the course...  Good luck!!

  4. I've bought every thing except tees and shoes and it's safer to use your cc online than in a store just so you know.

  5. I have bought balls, tees, gloves and a Taylor Made r5 driver on eBay, with no problems.  Use Paypall, it's very secure.

  6. Ive brought clubs, shoes, balls and even a golf cart online.

  7. I use PayPal whenever possible to avoid CC issues. That said, I  have bought nearly everything golf off the internet.

  8. You need to know the seller. Many struggling pros sell their excess clubs to cover expenses. Get a phone number and call. Golf manufacturers give these pros clubs as if they are candy, just in the hope the club will be put in play.

    Tour caddy.

  9. I'm not being a jackass, but with where I am in my game, I only buy gloves and balls online when I do buy online. Maybe the occasional shirt.

Having my clubs just right is important to me so I get fitted for all my clubs. at 6'3", I'm slightly taller than most of the regular length stuff sold in mass. That little extra step makes a difference in my game
