The car has such a short range as it is and there are so few outlets available! Now I hear the state wants everyone to pay 18 cents a gallon for road taxes, but they never complain about all the road taxes paid for lawn mowers, chain saws, weed wackers, and snow throwers do they! When are the taxpayers going to get a refund on all of that road tax paid when the engine never touched the road? Hey Honda when are you going to sell diesels that we can afford? And why is diesel fuel so expensive when it costs them less to produce diesel than gasoline! How many believe the feds are s******g with everyone on these things?

  2. i agree. . . .

  3. CNG outlets are everywhere.  You're not looking in the right places.  See the link below for a list of outlets along your travel route.

Lawn mowers, chain saws, weed whackers and snow throwers account for less than 1/12th of one percent of our total crude oil consumption.  You can take a deduction for those taxes paid on your federal tax return, try reading the instructions before preparing your next return.

You can't afford a diesel car?

Diesel fuel is so expensive because it's made from crude oil, which has gone from $10 a barrel about 10 years ago to more than $140 per barrel today.  The cost to convert crude oil to diesel hasn't changed, the price of the oil has changed.

The only way the Feds are s******g with you is by not telling you that the planet is running out of oil.

I hope that answers all your questions (rants).  If you're that unhappy with your CNG car, sell it to me.  I'll keep it for a year or so, then sell it back to you for twice what I paid for it.  It'll be worth that much to you to get out of your gasoline vehicle.

  4. I have a buddy that also owns a 2001 F-150 that he wants to convert to dual use unleaded/CNG. Can we touch base with you, if you are the party with the F-150 dual  fuel setup?

  5. Haha, I don't think that they wanted you to travel long distances with the compressed natural gas car and seriously, I don't think that it is very appealing right now because you can't find any of those outlets.

  6. They are meant to be commuter cars.  They want you to buy a hybrid to travel.
