What good shoujo anime should I watch?

I need a really good shoujo anime to watch. i mean i've already watched:

la corda

special a

ouran (sorry for the abbreviations)

and others i cant really name right now...

but i would like a really good one, doesn't matter if it has mature stuff or its ecchi....

The works of Studio Ghibli I have found to be empowering in general and for girls in particular.  Heroines who are not wimpy but get out there and do something.  Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind is great and every one there after has a strong heroine.  Even Kiki's Delivery Service.  I also like The Dirty Pair, particularly the OVAs and even the new missions.  Gun Slinger Girl is also good.  If your local video store has an anime section rent some and check them out for your self.  The Ghost in the Shell first movie and TV shows have a female as the lead field agent.  Have fun with it.  And the Japanese version of the PowerPuff Girls is a favorite of my 9 year old.  She also likes something called Princess Nine or something like that about a girls baseball team that makes it to the Japanese HS finals.
