  1. I had quite a number of experiences in my early life involving what some people would consider Psi events.  When I was younger, I never gave it a second thought because it was a normal part of my life, and I knew other people who had similar experiences in my family.  As I grew older and was exposed to more people, I realized that many people did not experience the world in the same way that I did.  Not only did they not see the connections and associations that were obvious to me, but they adamantly insisted that my experiences weren't possible.

When I recognized that there were people in the world who didn't know all of the facts and/or couldn't look beyond the existing facts to understand some of the "unusual" occurances in our daily lives, I started to look for ways to help those people to understand the world that I saw and lived in.

One potential demonstration that I came across was related to ESP tests that involved people guessing cards (Circle, Square, Triangle, Wavy Lines, etc.)  This was never my area of expertise, but I gave it a try (with very limited success). After those first investigations into "testing ESP", I was always looking for better ways to help people to understand that there is more in this world than we can see, hear, touch, taste, or smell.  To this very day, I continue to learn what others have done, and try to help people to understand that the human experience and thier potential is not limited by their physical senses.  Thanks for the question!

  2. Years ago some things happened to me that I thought were spiritual. I've come to believe they were paranormal  instead of spiritual. I used to go to the paranormal section..but thought I might get some better answers over here and maybe learn more.

  3. I had a near death experience.  I was in a car accident.  I remember flying through the window and hitting the ground.  When I woke up I was in a strange place, but I wasn't confused or scared, everything just seemed so much more right and normal than usual.  A man there taught me how to harness my psi energy and use it to fight super villians such as Tom Cruise and George W. Bush.  He trained me for a year.  Then I woke up on the ground at the scene of the accident and no time had passed.  The paramedics hadn't even arrived yet.  That was two days ago, and since then I have been locked in a neverending psi battle with the forces of reason.

  4. I have had in interest in the paranormal ever since I can remember.  As soon as I could read well enough I was scoping out the paranormal section at the library and reading everything they had,  still do.   I was blessed with parents that never told me my imaginary friend wasn't real.    To this day, I believe she was a spirit.

  5. As a teen, I was interested in lots of unusual things like Loch Ness and UFOs. As the years went by, I dismissed most of it and became sensibly skeptical. Then, my parents passed away, and the ghostly things started--I believe in ghosts, and THAT'S IT. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get a ghost to sit still so I can document it!

  6. I can't remember.  I was a curious kid and read everything I could get my hands on.  Parapsychology was an area that was so mysterious and showed such possibilities I couldn't resist gobbling up all I could on it.

  7. The interesting bit is trying to work out why people are so keen to believe such weird irrational things.

  8. Life experiences.

  9. I have been intrigued by parapsychology since middle school. My interest came from my fear of it. About 4 years ago, I started to take it seriously and did a little research. I never knew for sure until I had a personal paranormal experience about a year ago now.

I do not believe in all areas of parapsychology or paranormal phenomena. I also think most people lie or exaggerate when it comes to the two.

I am more interested in Near Death Experiences, Stigmata,  Extra-Terrestrial, Premonitions, Astronomy (NOT ASTROLOGY), Religious Beliefs and extremely interested in Ghosts.

And less interested in Telekinesis, Reincarnation, Retrocognition, anything that has to do with Psychic, Bigfoot, Lockness Monster, some being they do not exist and others b/c I just do not care if they exist.
