What got you into hockey and what got you to love your favorite NHL team?

Was is it a family thing where you got into it because of your parents? Or was it a great play you saw that made you realize what an amazing sport hockey it is?

For me it was a combination of my parents exposing me to the Devils in the early to mid 90's and then when I began to get older and really realize what I was cheering for I began to appreciate this sport for so much....

1. the only sport where you have to learn how to move on a different surface before you can even play

2. has the best aspects of all the sports - hitting, speed, precision and so much more

3. how much it brings people together....i feel that all hockey fans are friends in some ways (even Rangers and Devils) because hockey is in us as fans...I don't get that same feeling for other sports....

My parents!!! They used to watch it all the time when i was  growing up.

I also live in Ontario.it's a way of life here..
