What grade do you go into in nsw if you are in year7 in qld?

Well some of us do know exactly what nsw and qld are, lol!

Not sure about the demarcation of school years though - never having been to school myself, being home educated all my life and not bothering about school years at home.

Okay, it seems that NSW and QLD are the only two places where year 7 goes from ages 12 - 13 so you'd be in year 7 in both places...

...And if I ever did decide to go to school, I'd be in year 9 (lol! that's the first time I've ever known what year I'd be in at school).

What is nsw and qld?  Never heard of it so it may be better if you explained it, if you want people to answer.  Thanks.
