  1. you are a son of a *****

  2. Ancient civilizations of Atlantis and Lemuria, as everybody seems to think that the've stumbled upon one or the other all over the world.

Also proving whether or not  the myth of Helen of Troy is really a legend.

    Are u really an archaeologist?

  3. the spear of destiny

    atlantis

my remains in about 2000 years

  4. it will be interesting to see what is under the ice caps  when they melt.

  5. The giant ball of string. A thousand years from now when they dig us up they will ask "what were they thinking?"

  6. I would really like to see some more extensive work done at Tara in order to see how far the complex really extends. Unfortunately, with all the road building going on important information has already been lost :(

  7. The discovery of Noah's Ark

  8. I would be very intrigued if they found more megalithic structures in Africa or Indonesia?

  9. Underwater archaeology in the bay of Cambay(India) is showing some promise as to extremely ancient IVC structures, and possibly some pottery about 30,000 years old (the jury is still out on it, but it does look like pottery). Also underwater archaeology on the Sunda shelf around South East Asia and Japan. There's a lot of stories of cities lost to the sea in India, there are probably quite a few Neolithic cities underwater around the coast.

There's what looks like a natural stone formation that's been altered by humans deep under water off the coast of Japan, it's got drains and steps cut into it.

Also, there are signs of drowned cities off the coast of Cuba, although a lot of evidence in the Caribbean was wrecked when the slabs were dredged up to form a harbour by the Americans.

  10. who knows could be anything

  11. Any evidence that any of the stories in the KJV are real.

So far, no evidence has been found and probably for the obvious reason.

  12. In terms of Megalithic architecture it was an exceptional event when Nabta Playa was widely reported for the first time after sitting there unnoticed (or at least, unreported) in the desert for millenia. The best chance for a further new Megalithic find I think is in some long sunken landscape - that is, underwater - lake or sea, probably sea. Where this find might be about to emerge from hiding is hard to judge. I would guess some former littoral that was submerged  by, say, at least 2000bce, would cause a stir in the archaeological world. Something extensive and well-engineered rediscovered after a submergence of, say, 10,000 years would be a total heart-thumper. If Catal-Huyuk arose c.7500bce with no obvious more primitive, preogenitor settlement, it appears that a highly skilled and organised population of city-builders must have migrated from somewhere else - perhaps under threat of inundation by the sea. Wherever it might lie, that possible undersea site has yet to be located. One thing for sure, we are not at the end of shock and disbelief in the chance rediscovery of very ancient human constructions.

  13. a buried civilisation under the ice of Antarctica.

  14. atlantis. r'lyeh. unknown kadath on the forbidden plateau of leng

  15. Noah's Ark...not megalithic but sure would be the find of all time.

How the buildings at Machu Pichu and others were built...such amazing precision of the fitting of the irregular blocks of stone and how the stones were brought there to begin with.

How the ancients were able to move blocks of stone that weighed hundreds of tons....modern methods would be hard pressed to duplicate.

    Evidence for Atlantis.

Evidence of ancient manned or glider flight such as the glider-like artifacts (Saqqara bird ) found in Egypyt and Peru.

I'm up for a road trip if you need a go-fer.

  16. 1)where the megalithic people actually came from. Now that isotope testing can be used to determine where a person was born, hopefully we should be able to establish some sort of  definite 'route'.

    2) I believe modern archaeological techniques will show us that none of the megalithic structures were built in isolation; that there were other structures, perhaps in wood, built nearby that were connected but serving a different function--ie Durrington Walls/Woodhenge 2 mi from Stonehenge.

I also believe we will find much more evidence of wooden structures inside & around  the stone circles, such as at Stanton Drew and Stonehenge itself.

As for 'possibilities'--I would imagine there are lost circles waiting to be discovered (like the big one covered by peat up by Callanish) and interesting burials of the megalithic period waiting to be unearthed--such as the Amesbury Archer, found 3 mi from Stonehenge, with his unheard of amount of Beakers, archery equipment, imported dagger and the earliest gold found in Britain.

I doubt this will happen but maybe someone looking at megalthic art in Ireland might be able to 'crack the code' so that we can truly understand its meaning.

  17. I feel that underwater archaeology has much to offer, particularly in the past coastal settlements in which water has since covered areas that were once inhabitated and either eroded or covered these structures.

  18. We still don't know what exactly was the reason of building the Stonehenge and other megalithic structures of that kind. (I have a theory about it)
