  1. Lisa Fernandez Olympic Softball pitcher walked in 14 runs at her first softball game at age 14.

Michael Jordan was cut from is high school basketball team as a freshmen.

Every athlete had to start somewhere. No one can throw a ball 95 mph the first time the pick up a ball, or  make a socce rball cut on the first kick

  2. well, if it's any help, i'm going for the olympic dream.

i started at age 13 in gymnastics, when you usually start aged 4. i've been in it a few months and i'm already tumbling and doing elite skills, although i'm not officially elite yet.

if you dont know what it looks like, type into youtube gymnastics level 10 floor routine.

i'm nearly fourteen. i've been doing it less than a year and i'm already better than some people who started before they were potty-trained.

to add to that, i started off quite unflexible , and i'm taller than lots of them. my saving grace was the fact that i'm really strong. the first time my coach ever saw me do a simple handstand, he said to my parents "i noticed right off, she's incredibly strong."

  3. dude all the inspiration u need is that u know u wont give up no matter if u get hurt at w.e ur doing or if u see some ppl are better than you..

Like me i skateboard and i see ppl that are better then me and they know more tricks and such and sometimes it makes me want to quit bcs they are better so who needs another person to be good.. but idc bcs i do it for my own fun and because if i practice more and more and get good at 1 day i might be just like them.. or better :)
