    Catch-22 by Joseph Heller

Brave New World by Aldous Huxley

but these all depend on what your taste is.  They are mostly literature and pretty old, but the first one is very interesting.  They are all really good:)

  17. The Will of the Empress by Tamora Pierce was great, but it is the eighth book in the series. Without reading the others it would mean little to you. The first is Sandry's Book (Circle of Magic Series #1) and it introduces you to the story.

The Golden Compass by Pullman has everything you would want in a great book. There is a complex story, feelings, action, humor, higher thinking, and it makes you a better person for reading it. Had a movie made after it. The movie was really bad and nothing like the book. Read the book. It's a series of three.

There is The Host by Meyer. Most popular author right now due to the book series Twilight.

If you are looking for an interesting light read check out the Uglies series. I just read them and liked them.

  18. Lost souls by Poppy Z Brite.

Its a little graphic, The main characters are vampires and the setting revolves around new Orleans. It's very detailed and perfectly written. It dabbles in love, horror, abusive relationships, the goth scene/misunderstood teenagers, ghosts, voodoo and its a bit philosophical.

If you enjoy this kind of book you'll find it very fast paced and that's something i have to have..slow books just don't do it for me.

I found it in a used book store after wondering around for hours, the spine was all broke down and you could tell the pages had been dog-eared. I wasn't expecting anything special, just another vampire novel but i was wrong.

I've read this book seventeen times in the past four years. xP

Because of it i have been Poppy's stalker, buying everything she puts out.

Point being, I'm Very pleased with that book.

  19. Twilight

    New Moon

    Eclipse

    Breaking Dawn

are all part of the Twilight saga by Stephanie Meyer. Seriously... they will change your life :)

  20. milkweed by jerry spinelli was amazing........ it made my cry. im such a looser lol.

or the diary of anne frank was good too.

a corner of the universe (i forgot the author) was really touching and unique.

twilight is also good, but everyone else already said that and they can easily become your life if you read them too often. sad but true.
