What "green" products do you buy?

Hi everyone! I am doing research on green products and I really need your input. This survey is for anyone interested in organic, natural, or recycled products. I REALLY appreciate you taking 2 minutes to fill it out. And feel free to pass it along to anyone else you know who might be interested.

  1. I use and sell Shaklee.  This company walks its talk and even plants trees to cover the CO2 emissions it takes to get the product to you...it has been certified climate neutral--leaving no foot print on this planet.  I use most of their products--but am very happy with the Get Clean line of green cleaners.  They have helped my daughter's allergy related asthma.  Made me more healthy. They are safe for you, your family, your pets and the planet. Work beautifully!!!  You actually save money using them.  http://shaklee.net/321Blastoff    As for other green products--the closed cell foam insulation saves me a ton of money monthly on the AC/heating bills.

  2. let's put it this way: I DON'T buy environmentally unfriendly electricity..I'm off the grid -->  solar power!

  3. I HAV MOAR GREEN DEN DA GRAZ~*~*~*$$$$$$$$$

  4. 1. CFL lights + I'm looking into solid-state LED lamps.

    3. I do recycling things, for aluminum, plastic, paper.

    4. I'm going to get an electric car someday but the Man is holding me down.

  5. I enjoy my green Hummer I just got it repainted a bolder green at Earl Scheib. I drive it all over so people know I am a green. I pity my neighbor with his brown Prius. How can somebody be so insensitive to the green movement????

  6. I turn OFF my electronics at night. I read that "sleep" mode still draws a signifigant amount of power that is a complete waste.

  7. Vinegar and baking soda for cleaning sinks & drains.

Mrs. Meyers dryer sheets for the dryer

EO Products for hand soap (w/essential oils)

Organic foods as much as possible - they taste great - like Rudi's Bread, Organic Valley milk, eggs and cheese; Pacific chicken broth

We recycle all cans, bottles, and plastics

Produce bags for storage: Evert-Fresh (works great; saves $)

We also use reusable shopping bags (GreenBag) for groceries

  8. I try to juice fennel, celery and carrot three times a day.

We have a makeshift compost and it is swarming with healthy earthworms.

Sprinkle bio coffee grinds on our rosebushes and fig tree. They produce beautiful roses and succulent figs.

I take a sweetwater microalgae supplement(Chlorella) everday. I feel the difference in my energy.

    Unplug my computer at night.

Drive my bike for grocery shopping when possible.

I have this wonderful Dish Shampoo sent to me by a friend in Knoxville, Tennessee, called Mrs. Meyer´s Clean Day Liquid Dish Soap(lavendar scent).  Makes the kitchen smell divine. No chemical additives.  www.mrsmeyers.com

And of course, Dr. Bronner´s Liquid Peppermint Soap.

    * I mix aquarium fish food with earth and then plant my pumpkin seeds. Yields the healthiest orangest pumpkins ever. But you have to keep the cats away:-)

Do a little, change a lot!

Thanks for the link to the survey.

    Good luck!

  12. My fiance and I use a lot of Seventh Generation products (tissue paper, toilet paper, dish soap, clothes detergent) Dr. Bronner's hand soap.  We also use the same Whole Food grocery bags all the time, and have some produce bags that we reuse weekly for our fresh produce.
